If you answer yes to these questions then we have the answer!

Team Shine is a new activity session that takes part during your lunch break on the tennis courts.

The Team Shine sessions will involve many fun physical and sporting activities including football, cricket, basketball, multi sports, co-ordination and balance skills and much more. You will even have the chance to decide what we do if you achieve the MVP award!

MVP stands for Most Valuable Participant award. This is given to the participants who show excellent team work, attitude and work ethic. We have special Team Shine MVP badges that will notify the school of your hard work!

The Team Shine team consists of Mike Elland, who is the head coach. His profile is below. Along with Mike will be a group of specially chosen sports leaders and mentors from both year 10 and 11 to give you the best activities possible.

Alongside the coach led sessions we also have access to more equipment, so if you just want to organise a game between you and your friends that is fine, we will even have mentors to help out, even play against.

We will be alternating weeks starting with year 7 on the first week and then year 8 in the second. This is to make sure everyone gets access to Team Shine. Some sessions may be taken on the all weather pitch so suitable trainers must be worn.

At Team Shine, everyone is welcome, so if you don’t want to jump into the activities straight away, then just come along and watch, socialise and enjoy the atmosphere of our club.

So there is something for everyone in Team Shine so come down on DATE and join in. All you will need is £1 per term to cover the hire of all equipment. This money will not need to be paid again till Easter, and covers replacing any equipment that may need replacing.

We will look forward to meeting you at lunch time!!
