Reading Passports

READING PASSPORTS

Reading passports at Meden are designed to encourage and promote reading a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction. The passports have been created alongside curriculum leaders to select texts that are linked to their current curriculum learning. Every student is issued with a reading passport booklet which we ask them to fill throughout the year during tutorial.

Each term, we will review which students have read and there is opportunity to win rewards. We ask students to read a variety of books for pleasure by the time summer rolls around! All books are available in our school library, but we will also discuss with all children the benefits of using local libraries.
